Partners in Education (PIE) Art Gallery 

Experience the City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) as we spotlight the artistic talent of Columbia Public Schools students!

Through the innovative PIE Art Windows project, CPS Art Teachers team up with downtown District Businesses for inspiring collaboration to showcase student artwork. This initiative brings captivating student artwork to life, adorning the windows and gallery spaces of downtown establishments.

But that's not all – the City of Columbia OCA takes the celebration to a virtual realm. Partnering with the Columbia Public Schools Fine Arts Department, a digital gallery is curated to exhibit student creations. A panel from the City's Office of Cultural Affairs evaluates these artworks online and in the heart of downtown during PIE Week in The District. Their task: selecting the standout artist for the coveted first-place title. As a gesture of appreciation, the winning school receives a $500 honorarium to support classroom art supplies. Moreover, the winning student's art design earns the chance to be published, amplifying their artistic voice.
