I am so excited to be a part of John Warner Middle School's athletic department! I graduated from Hickman High School and was fortunate enough to complete my student teaching there as well. I've spent the last three years teaching English 9-12 in a rural district here in mid-Missouri. There, I was the head cheer coach for both middle school and high school Varsity and JV cheer. I also coached middle school quiz bowl, directed a high school play, and was an assistant speech coach. To say I enjoy keeping busy is an understatement! I have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to work with the wonderful CPS district and finally got that chance. This year, I'm thrilled to be teaching 8th grade English over at Jefferson Middle School while acting as head coach to our John Warner cheerleaders!

    Go Grizzlies!

This is my 8th year of coaching 8th boys basketball, 5th as head coach, all at Gentry. Before that, I coached under Blair Scanlon at California HS, and Tyler Clark at Tolton HS.

We built a winning culture at Gentry and I’m excited to partner with coaches, secretaries, administration, and staff to build a culture at Warner.

My mission statement is to be a coach with a relentless pursuit of excellence in all things in order to give athletes the tools to be above reproach on and off the court and to maximize each player’s growth now and in the future, with the core values of Integrity, Selflessness, Toughness, and Excellence.
